Chris began his woodworking career as a young boy in his grandfather’s shop, where he developed a love and passion for woodworking. He continued that passion into college, where his employment at the University of North Carolina BeAM Makerspace allowed him to further his craftsmanship. It was there that he advanced his knowledge of traditional techniques and combined them with digital fabrication. He now focuses on developing both traditional and modern techniques in his craft. When he’s not designing or working in his shop, he enjoys spending time with his five dogs at his home in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
